There are those who always wear the same clothes. Those who carry amulets. Those who make promises. Those who implore looking up to heaven. Those who believe in superstition.

And those who are still running when their legs shake. Those who continue playing when they have no air. Those who continue fighting when all seems lost. As if each time was the last time. Convinced that life itself is a challenge. Suffer. But do not complain. Because they know that the pain go by, the sweat dries and fatigue ends.
But one thing never disappear, lthe satisfaction of having succeeded.

In their bodies is the same amount of muscles. In their veins the same blood. What makes them different is their spirit. The determination to reach the summit. A summit where you can’t arrive overcoming the others, "but exceeding yourself".

Xavi Casas, Xina World-wide result

Xavi Ksas World Championship Xina 2009It was a very hard trial, 6 hours of competition, with a temperature of 38 degrees and humidity of 80%. Xavi Casas began the race to 9h02, all direct rivals except one behind Casas, so they controlled all the race to him. They knew their scores from the beginning. The first lap Casas was really concentrated without pressure, and he was making good scores. At the end of the first lap he was placed second in the general classification. At the beginning of the second lap he committed an error, that made him lose advantage on his rivals, so he had to manage the points from that moment. After 3h30 of competition Casas had pain in his ankle and the end of the race was in 2h30 of race, which was very complicated, so that he was to participate with a lot of pressure and he began to lower yield. He had another error which positioned him to eighth final position.

Finally Xavi Casas finished the eighth of the competition with 63 participants, the best ones of each country. Casas finalized the race with 33 points. The winner was a Japanese; Masaya Yamamoto, the second; the Canadian John Webster, and in third position; Maxime Kolb of France.
